Pear Tree selects UMB for fund accounting and custody services

UMB Fund Services has been selected by Pear Tree Advisors to provide fund accounting, tax preparation and reporting, and global custody services to its mutual fund business.

Pear Tree Funds currently holds six mutual funds, the first of which was launched in 1985, comprised of two domestic and four international funds.

UMB Fund Services will administer in-house tax and regulatory services for preparation, compliance and reporting of the funds, while the institutional custody technology platforms will deliver a proactive service for trade settlement and corporate actions in the funds portfolio.
